BRUNCH: Hobknob Neighborhood Tavern

BRUNCH: Hobknob Neighborhood Tavern

If you're a regular reader, you know I love a good brunch moment. So I'm on a constant crusade to find the perfect brunch location here in Atlanta!

Recently, I did something we all do when we're looking to try a new restaurant but are a little leery on their reputation or services - I Yelp'ed! While on a search through hundreds of restaurants in the Atlanta/Metro-Atlanta area, I came across a restaurant offering bottomless mimosas, had patio seating and had a review that read - "I was toasted leaving here", and I needed to hear nothing more.

Once I arrived, we were seated when two of the party of three were present. I quickly ordered the steak and eggs, and a bottomless mimosa round. I received my first mimosa. It was a little more orange in color than I like for it to be, but I didn't want to automatically assume the worst. I grabbed the stem of the glass gently, as not to waste any of the bulging beverage. I readied my lips and my palette for the first sip, and moved the glass closer to my mouth. I sipped - and it was pure orange juice. I was disgusted, but remembered that they were bottomless, and sometimes you have to tell the servers how you like yours made.

The food arrived, and it was cooked to perfection. My steak was tinder and seasoned well - it had just a tiny hint of pink which always makes my mouth water. After the second round of mimosa's I realized I had found a new favorite on my brunch go-to list. Towards the end of my meal, I realized that it was owned by the same company that owns one of my previously reviewed brunch spots, 10th and Piedmont - which is also one of my favorites to frequent.
